Come and be part of something special at The Glennie School
At Glennie, education extends well beyond the classroom. We are looking for people who bring expertise and commitment to their work, build strong relationships with young people and colleagues, and value being part of a school community with a rich history, enduring traditions, and a strong sense of purpose.
As an Australian Olympic Pathway School (AOPS), we are proud to provide opportunities that allow our students to pursue excellence across academics, sport, and the wider life of the School. We are equally committed to the growth of our staff, with a strong culture of professional learning, collaboration, and development.
As we look ahead to 2027, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed educators to join our team in these exciting roles:
Religious Education Coordinator
Inspire students to explore faith, values, and the big questions that shape our world. We are looking for an engaging educator who can bring Religious Education to life through strong leadership and contribute meaningfully to the Anglican ethos and wider life of our School.
Science Teacher
Help foster a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and academic excellence across Years 7 to 12. We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science teacher who can inspire curiosity, make learning meaningful, and challenge students to think deeply about the world around them. From building strong foundations in the middle years to guiding students through the rigour of senior science, you will create engaging learning experiences that empower students to grow in confidence and pursue excellence in STEM. Experience teaching QCAA Senior Biology is highly desirable.
Why Glennie?
This is an exciting time to join our School. We are continuing to strengthen our academic, co-curricular, and sporting programs, develop new opportunities and partnerships, and invest in the professional growth of our people.
Our staff benefit from a strong professional learning culture, with opportunities to collaborate, undertake further study, engage with educational research, develop leadership capability and learn alongside colleagues and external experts.
We are looking for people who want to contribute not only to their classroom or program but also to the wider life and future of our School.
If you are passionate about education and looking for a school that will invest in your growth as well as theirs, we would love to hear from you.
Come and be part of the next chapter at Glennie.
