The School enjoys an excellent reputation for the quality of its programs, care and support offered to students, as well as the commitment, dedication, and professionalism of its staff.About the role:The Administration Officer is primarily responsible for providing a range of efficient and high-level administration support to the Head of Performing Arts in terms of advanced office management and computing skills, and through the use of problem-solving and organisational skills. The Administration Officer has a strong customer focus, offering helpful, friendly and approachable service to students, parents and staff. The role requires the ability to use initiative, resolve minor matters, and refer more serious matters to appropriate members of staff.The Administration Officer works independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team and maintains systems and procedures and establishes task priorities to meet deadlines and commitments. This may include revising existing systems or devising new systems as required.The Glennie School prides itself on the values that are imparted to students and will require the successful applicant to be supportive of the Anglican Ethos and comply with all state and legislative requirements under the operation of an independent school.This is a full-time, term time plus five weeks position.About You:Experience in performing arts or music.Certificate III in Business Administration or similar qualification.Experience with The Alpha School System (TASS) software or Seqta.Experience in working in a school environment in an administrative role.Sound knowledge and use of Google suite.Demonstrate excellence in communication, organisation, and time management skills.Strong interpersonal skills, enabling harmonious and positive relationships.An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety including mandatory reporting requirements.Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children blue card prior to commencement.Right to Work in Australia, visa sponsorship is not available.You will have experience in a similar role, and a professional approach to your work.
