About the role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Rugby Coordinator working under the direction of the Head of Department - Sport and High Performance, and employed on a part-time fixed term contract from the July, 2025 to July, 2026. The Glennie School prides itself on having state of the art sports facilities to support it's coaches and students in achieving exceptional results.
You will be responsible for:
Planning and running training sessions
Developing and supporting our coaches
Organising and planning our gala days
Coaching and encouraging our teams on game day

The successful applicant will have a passion for sport and the ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community.
Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience as a Rugby Coordinator
Proven ability to work as a constructive member of a team in a professional, courteous manner.
Maintain a degree of flexibility in working hours from time to time as required for the position.
Demonstrated experience in communication, organisation, time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task.
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Able to engage and work with a range of stakeholders, particularly young people and their parents.
Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety including mandatory reporting requirements.
Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card Blue Card, in accordance with ‘No Card, No Start law’, as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
