The School is currently recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Manager. Your role will be to have a strategic approach to the school’s governance, risk, compliance and OHS.
You will:
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
Take responsibility for the central administration of risk through risk management tools
Manage the School’s risk management processes, including developing and maintaining the School’s risk register and supporting the identification and management of emerging risks
Monitor legislative and regulatory requirements, and advise senior leaders of any implications for School operations
Preparation of compliance reporting to relevant stakeholders, including the School Council and external governing bodies.
You will have:
Relevant formal qualifications in risk management, compliance or a related field, and an understanding of Australian Risk Management Standards
Strong knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks, including child protection, privacy, workplace health and safety, and non-state school legislation
Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, systems, and procedures in a complex organisation
Proven ability to manage risk and compliance reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements
High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide advice and build awareness across a diverse range of stakeholders.
Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (or willingness to attain)
