About the Role
The Glennie School is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Finance Office,  Accounts Receivable to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering timely and accurate billing, debtor management, and financial administration to support the School’s operations. You will manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable, including student fee billing, debt collection, scholarships, and remissions, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue school fee statements and associated charges

  • Generate commercial invoices and credit notes as required

  • Administer remission and scholarship records, ensuring information in TASS is accurate and up to date

  • Manage international student fee accounts and liaise with the Director of International Student Programs regarding overdue accounts

  • Monitor and follow up outstanding debts, including liaison with families, Edstart, and debt collection agencies

  • Reconcile daily bank transactions and allocate payments accurately

  • Reconcile grant and funding receipts, ensuring correct GST treatment and coding.

  • Produce accurate debtor and fee collection reports

  • Maintain confidential and well-organised records

  • Provide general administrative and finance support as required within the Finance Team
