The OSHC Coordinator supports the education and care of children aged 3 to 12 years attending The Glennie Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated OSHC Coordinator to lead and manage our vibrant Outside School Hours Care program. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the OSHC program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and the highest standards of care. This role will include contact, in ratio work and you will be a nominated supervisor.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting and leading the work of The Glennie School Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), its management committee and the Approved Provider in a timely and effective manner
Leading in the development and implementation of the service QIP
Documenting and participating in curriculum decision making and curriculum implementation.
Managing enrollments, billing, staff rostering, and ensuring full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation.
Building strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless integration and open communication.
Support the creation and delivery of Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs.
You will have:
Current Diploma in Children’s Services or above (or equivalent NQF Approved Qualification)
Demonstrated experience leading and developing curriculums and making decisions in collaboration with the team
Experience supporting children with complex needs and leading behaviour guidance
Sound knowledge of NQS, OSHC compliance, and risk management
Budgeting and workforce planning skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
